Pillar Insurance was originally founded in 1999 when Dirk and Ed joined together and formed Dahms and Hoeg Insurance here in Traer, Iowa. In 2011 Chad joined Dirk and Ed to become Dahms, Hoeg & Miller Insurance Agency. The three agent owners then rebranded the agency to form Pillar Insurance in 2015. It was in 2018 that Dirk decided to retire and Ed took over for his clients that remained part of Pillar Insurance. Carmen Erhardt then joined in 2020 and since then they have expanded to not only service the state of Iowa but Wisconsin and Illinois as well. 

Ed, Chad, and Carmen may be three individual agent owners within Pillar Insurance, but they strive to provide excellent service to our customers.
